Baldur, is the spirit of the vegetation and considers that the Mistletoe is equivalent to the beginning of the life of the Oak. In winter it loses its leaves while the mistletoe, a parasitic plant that lives in its branches, maintains its green color even though it lacks roots.

Upon the death of Baldur, and after pleading with Loki to intercede to bring him back to life and to his refusal, Odin his brother, has a son with Rinda, the Queen of the Zutenos, so that he can kill Loki and can come back to life
